About The Position

The NYU Langone Comprehensive Care Center for MS and Neuroimmune Disorders Division is seeking a full-time lifespan neuropsychologist to join our faculty and play an active role in its thriving research department and clinical practice. The Comprehensive Care Center for Multiple Sclerosis and Neuroimmune Disorders, part of NYU Langone’s Department of Neurology, is a multidisciplinary center dedicated to advancing the understanding, diagnosis, and treatment of multiple sclerosis and related neuroimmunologic conditions. Through innovative research, expert clinical care, and access to the latest therapeutic approaches, our team provides comprehensive patient-centered care for individuals living with MS across the lifespan, and addresses the full range of neurological, cognitive, and physical challenges associated with the disease. Our mission is to improve outcomes and quality of life through personalized treatment, cutting-edge research, and compassionate, patient-centered care.

Requirements

• A doctoral degree (PhD or PsyD) in clinical psychology from an APA- or CPA- accredited program with an APA- or CPA-accredited internship
• Two-year formal postdoctoral fellowship in clinical neuropsychology.
• Must be board certified (ABPP/ABCN) or ABCN board eligible.
• Completion of the ABPP/ABCN credential is required within five years of hire.
• Licensure in New York
• Applicants should have strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Performing outpatient neuropsychological evaluations and educational evaluations at the MS Center, a specialized outpatient clinic serving children, adolescents, and adults.
• Actively participating in clinical research
• Supervising and teaching clinical neuropsychology trainees
• Providing school consultation and advocacy regarding accommodation and interventions for our pediatric patients
• Contributing to development of new program ideas and participating in grant proposals
• Provisioning of didactic seminars to psychology and psychiatry fellows and trainees
• Participating in Center conferences such as weekly Case Conference and Grand Rounds, conducting public workshops, providing written content for the NYU website
