About The Position

The Ayer Neuroscience Institute is a large, multidisciplinary ambulatory site in Hartford, CT. You will collaborate on the neuromuscular clinical council to develop care paradigms, advance quality initiatives, promote patient experience, and identify research and innovation opportunities. There is also an opportunity to help develop a neuromuscular ultrasound service line. Requirements

Neurology residency
Neuromuscular fellowship or Neurophysiology fellowship

Responsibilities

Focus on treating patients with neuromuscular disorders such as neuropathy, myasthenia gravis, amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS), etc.
Perform electromyography (EMG) studies
Participate in the NCS technician training program
Collaborate on the neuromuscular clinical council to develop neuromuscular care paradigms, advance quality of care initiatives, promote patient experience, and find opportunities for research and innovation
Help develop neuromuscular ultrasound service line
