You will work at the Ayer Neuroscience Institute at Hartford HealthCare Medical Group in New Britain, CT, a large multispecialty and multidisciplinary ambulatory site. The position encourages collaboration, clinical research development, and participation in developing neuromuscular care paradigms, quality initiatives, patient experience, and research opportunities. You will also help develop the neuromuscular ultrasound service line.
Requirements
- Neurology residency
- Neuromuscular fellowship or Neurophysiology fellowship
Responsibilities
- Focus on treating patients with neuromuscular disorders such as neuropathy, myasthenia gravis, amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS), etc.
- Work in the Ayer Neuroscience Institute at Hartford HealthCare Medical Group location in New Britain, CT; a large multispecialty and multidisciplinary ambulatory site
- Work in a collaborative environment with opportunity to develop clinical research
- Perform electromyography (EMG) studies
- Participate in the NCS technician training program
- Collaborate on the neuromuscular clinical council to develop neuromuscular care paradigms, advance quality of care initiatives, promote patient experience, and find opportunities for research and innovation
- Help develop neuromuscular ultrasound service line
