About The Position

The Department of Neurology at the Medical College of Wisconsin (MCW) seeks a board certified / board eligible physician to join our expanding Neuromuscular and Autonomic Disorders Program (NMADP). This position is located in Milwaukee, WI at Froedtert Hospital. We are comprised of nationally and internationally renowned, dedicated group of faculty and staff with a strong commitment to clinical care. The NMADP includes a large outpatient clinic practice with a state-of-the-art clinical neurophysiology laboratory and nerve-muscle pathology laboratory. There is also opportunity for also seeing pediatric patients. Research offers collaboration with colleagues in both clinical & basic science departments. Education includes teaching medical students, residents, and fellows. Participation in the Neuromuscular Diseases Conferences and related educational activities. Performs other duties as assigned by Chair or Chair-Designate.

Requirements

• Medical degree (MD, DO, or equivalent) from an accredited institution.
• Board certification or eligibility in Neurology ABPN.
• Certification in Neuromuscular Medicine (or equivalent).
• State medical licensure, or eligibility to obtain license, in the state of Wisconsin.

Nice To Haves

• Additional advanced fellowship training in Clinical Neurophysiology is highly desired.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate/manage patients with neurological, particularly adult neuromuscular disorders.
• Teaching medical students, residents, and fellows.
• Participation in the Neuromuscular Diseases Conferences and related educational activities.
• Performs other duties as assigned by Chair or Chair-Designate.
