About The Position
Cooper Norcross Health is seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Neurologist to join its Department of Neurology. The role provides high-quality, compassionate care to patients with a wide range of neurological conditions in inpatient and outpatient settings. The neurologist contributes to the academic mission through teaching and collaboration and works with a multidisciplinary team. General neurologists and candidates with fellowship training or interest in subspecialties including Epilepsy, Headache, Movement Disorders, Neuroimmunology, Neuromuscular, Neuro-ophthalmology, Cognitive, and Stroke and Vascular neurology are welcome.
Requirements
- MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Neurology.
- Eligible for medical licensure in the state of New Jersey.
Nice To Haves
- Fellowship training or interest in Epilepsy, Headache, Movement Disorders, Neuroimmunology, Neuromuscular, Neuro-ophthalmology, Cognitive, or Stroke and Vascular neurology.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive neurological care to patients with a wide range of conditions.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including neurosurgery, neurocritical care, and rehabilitation.
- Participate in teaching medical students, residents, and fellows.
- Contribute to the development of subspecialty programs and services.
- Engage in quality improvement initiatives and clinical research as appropriate.
