About The Position

Resolution Think is seeking a skilled and compassionate Neurology Physician to deliver exceptional patient care services at Mike O’Callaghan Military Medical Center (MOMMC), Nellis Air Force Base, Nevada. This role is essential to supporting the military healthcare mission by providing timely, high-quality, and patient-focused neurology care in a dynamic clinical environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical expertise, sound medical judgment, and the ability to effectively manage emergent and complex cases. Excellent communication, collaboration, and leadership skills are also critical to success in this position.

Requirements

Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) or Doctor of Osteopathy (D.O.).
Graduation from a medical school in the United States, Canada, or approved by the Liaison Committee on Medical Education of the American Medical Association (AMA), graduation from a college of osteopathy approved by the American Osteopathic Association (AOA), or graduation from a medical school with evidence of Educational Commission for Foreign Medical Graduates (ECFMG) certification.
Successful completion of ACGME approved Neurology Medical Residency
At least 24 months of Neurologic clinical experience within the last 36 months.
Basic Life Support (BLS) using American Heart Association or American Red Cross guidelines. Members must present proof of current certification(s) through American Heart Association or American Red Cross. Computer-based training does not constitute fulfilling the training requirements.
Board certified in adult Neurology by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology or the American Osteopathic Board of Neurology and Psychiatry.. NOT board eligible.
Must have a permanent, full, and unrestricted Medical License to practice medicine in the state of Nevada.
US Citizen
Subject to a background/security investigation
Pre-employment drug screening
Willingness to comply with DHA vaccination requirements.
Must pass TB Test

Responsibilities

Examine, diagnose, and treat diseases and disorders of the nervous system.
Provide outpatient services for patients as scheduled by the Government.
Provide inpatient neurology consultation and stroke coverage according to call schedule.
Provide immediate evaluation and management of emergency problems as they occur.
Capable of performing lumbar punctures.
Capable of performing and interpreting nerve conduction studies and electromyography.
Capable of performing evoked potentials and electroencephalograms.
Capable of providing chemo denervation (such as botulinum toxin injections) for common neurological conditions.
Prepare all records and reports as may be required in support of services rendered and as required by the MTF.
Ensure a safe work environment and personnel safe work habits.
