About The Position

Ochsner Health is seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible General Neurologist in Slidell, La to practice inpatient only. Our volume is growing so we are looking to add to our team. Ochsner Health is an integrated healthcare system with more than 36,000 employees and over 4,600 employed and affiliated physicians in over 90 medical specialties and subspecialties. It operates 47 hospitals and more than 370 health and urgent care centers across Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama and the Gulf South.

Requirements

• Board Certified/Board Eligible General Neurologist
• Inpatient practice experience

• Option for call with additional pay if you like to do that.

Responsibilities

• Inpatient general Neurologist practice
• Rounding and consulting the floors
• Consulting - reading and ordering tests, going over plan of care
• Hospitalist will consult with neurology
• The NP is in person M-F and coordinates all care with our Connected Care Neurologist.
• A Neurologist to work with our APP and perhaps be a collaborating partner.
• Working a lot with Hospitalist and NP.
