About The Position
Valley Baptist Medical Center – Harlingen is seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Neurologist to join their growing, hospital-employed neuroscience program. This role offers the opportunity to practice general neurology with a focus on outpatient care, while also having the option to take inpatient consults. The position is backed by a strong referral network and full administrative support, allowing physicians to concentrate on patient care. The role includes privileges at Valley Baptist – Harlingen, a Level II Trauma Center, and potential privileges at Valley Baptist – Brownsville. Advanced technology, including Brainlab and AIRO, and comprehensive neurodiagnostic services are available. This is a full-time, employed position within a well-established hospital-based network.
Requirements
- MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
- Completion of an ACGME-accredited Neurology Residency
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Neurology
- Texas medical license or eligibility to obtain one
