About The Position
Valley Baptist Medical Center – Harlingen is seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Neurologist to join their growing, hospital-employed neuroscience program. This program is a regional leader in neuroscience, operating as a DNV-certified Comprehensive Stroke Center with advanced neurodiagnostic capabilities and cutting-edge technology. The position offers a strong referral network, full administrative support, and privileges extending to a sister facility in Brownsville, providing an opportunity to shape and grow a practice within a health system recognized for clinical excellence and patient safety.
Requirements
- MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
- Completion of an ACGME-accredited Neurology Residency
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Neurology
- Texas medical license or eligibility to obtain one
Responsibilities
- General Neurology, employed full-time position within a well-established hospital-based network
- Outpatient-focused practice with option to take inpatient consults
- Utilize advanced technology including Brainlab, AIRO, and comprehensive neurodiagnostic services
