About The Position

University of Maryland Shore Regional Health (UMSRH), a member of the University of Maryland Medical System, is seeking a Nurse Practitioner to join a thriving and well-established General Neurology practice in Cambridge, Maryland. This role offers the opportunity to be part of a leading healthcare network while enjoying a coastal lifestyle. The position is within a regional health care network serving Caroline, Dorchester, Queen Anne’s, Kent, and Talbot counties, which includes multiple medical centers and a coordinated system of care.

Requirements

• Master of Science degree with completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner Program required.
• Current state licensure as a Nurse Practitioner required.
• Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse required.
• Current BLS certification or obtained prior to providing direct patient care is required.
• DEA and CDS eligible.

Nice To Haves

• Experience preferred, not required.
• Experience preferred in Neurology, but not required.
• New graduates encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Provide care within a General Neurology practice.
• Work four (4) ten (10) hour workdays.
• Participate in rotating weekends and holidays.
• Provide care during day shift only.
• Ensure all information is kept confidential according to EEO guidelines.
