About The Position

Carle Health is seeking an additional Neurology (Movement Disorder) Advanced Practice Provider to join the Carle Neuroscience Institute (CNI) in Urbana, Illinois. This role involves working with an established team of seven other Outpatient Advanced Practice Providers and collaborating with adult general neurologists and a movement disorder subspecialty neurologist. While experience in the evaluation and management of patients with neurological disorders is preferred, it is not required. The position encourages participation in ongoing learning and professional development within Carle Neuroscience Institute, including case discussions, grand rounds, and morbidity and mortality rounds, with opportunities to attend regional or national conferences. There is also an opportunity to develop procedural skills related to neurology, such as Botox injections, lumbar puncture, and vagus nerve stimulator insertion, if desired. Requirements

Master's degree in Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner
Current Illinois physician assistant or nurse practitioner licensure

Nice To Haves

Experience in evaluation and management of patients with neurological disorders
Background in neurology (specifically movement disorders)
