About The Position
UnityPoint Clinic is actively seeking a Headache Specialist or Neurologist with interest in Headache. This is a well-run practice where physicians can focus on patient care. The position offers a supportive team environment with extensive subspecialty representation and experienced nursing support. There are opportunities for clinical research and teaching medical students and residents. The role includes dedicated administrative time and flexible scheduling, with zero call responsibilities as hospital call is managed by neurohospitalists. The clinic utilizes EPIC EMR for integrated care coordination and has an excellent Neuroradiology department. Opportunities for administrative involvement, such as developing a memory disorders clinic or serving as a neurology site lead, are also available.
Requirements
- Board eligible or board certified MD or DO
- Ability to obtain and hold an unrestricted license, DEA, and CSA to practice in the state of Iowa
- Eligible to work in the United States (H1-B cap exempt)
- J-1 waiver sponsorship available
