Eisai is a pharmaceutical company focused on neurology and oncology, with a strong emphasis on research and development. They are currently launching a new product in the U.S. to educate healthcare professionals (HCPs) on a treatment for mild cognitive impairment due to Alzheimer’s disease (AD) or mild AD. The Neurology Account Specialist (NAS) will be part of a diverse team of sales professionals supporting this launch, responsible for developing and executing business plans for their assigned geography. The primary role of the NAS is demand generation by conveying complex clinical information to customers and key stakeholders, consistent with the FDA-approved indication. The NAS will also ensure customers are educated on the simplest patient journey to therapy and must utilize exemplary interpersonal skills to address customer educational needs. The individual will be an agile learner, expected to understand Alzheimer’s disease and the competitive landscape, build trusted professional relationships with HCPs and office staff, and work cross-functionally while adhering to Eisai’s ethics and compliance standards.
