Eisai is a pharmaceutical company focused on neurology and oncology, driven by its human health care (hhc) mission to satisfy unmet medical needs. The company is launching a new product in the U.S. to educate healthcare professionals (HCPs) on a treatment for mild cognitive impairment due to Alzheimer's disease (AD) or mild AD. The Neurology Account Specialist (NAS) will be a key member of the sales team supporting this launch, responsible for developing and executing business plans within their assigned geography. The primary role of the NAS is demand generation through conveying complex clinical information to customers and stakeholders, aligned with the FDA-approved indication. They will also educate customers on the simplest patient journey to therapy and utilize interpersonal skills to address educational needs. The NAS must understand Alzheimer's disease and the competitive landscape, build trusted relationships with HCPs and office staff, and work cross-functionally while adhering to Eisai's ethics and compliance standards.
