Eisai is a pharmaceutical company focused on neurology and oncology, driven by its human health care (hhc) mission to satisfy unmet medical needs. The company is currently launching a new product in the U.S. to educate healthcare professionals (HCPs) on a treatment for mild cognitive impairment due to Alzheimer’s disease (AD) or mild AD. The Neurology Account Specialist (NAS) will be a key member of the sales team supporting this launch, responsible for developing and executing business plans within their assigned geography. The primary role of the NAS is demand generation through the communication of complex clinical information to customers and stakeholders, aligned with the FDA-approved indication. Additionally, the NAS will educate customers on the simplest patient journey to therapy and utilize interpersonal skills to address customer educational needs. The individual must understand and navigate the patient pathway effectively. The NAS is expected to be an agile learner, gaining a deep understanding of Alzheimer's disease and the competitive market. They will build trusted relationships with HCPs, other healthcare professionals, and office staff, working cross-functionally while adhering to Eisai’s ethics and compliance standards.
