About The Position

This is an exceptional opportunity for a motivated Neurologist to join an employed position within a busy, well-respected practice, supported by a strong referral base and the full resources of a robust health system network. Step into a well-established Neurology team of 1 Neurologist, 1 Nurse Practitioner, and 1 EMG Technician. This role offers 100% outpatient general neurology with flexible clinic hours Monday-Friday, working between 2 clinics each month. You will have access to support staff including MA’s and LVN’s. Manageable patient volume of approximately 17 adults per day allows for meaningful, relationship-focused care and strong work-life balance, along with virtual appointment options. There is an opportunity to develop a sub-specialty focus alongside a broad General Neurology practice, based on your clinical interests. High patient demand supports rapid practice growth, enabling you to build a full panel quickly and make an immediate impact. This is an employed position within a nonprofit health system. Board Certified or Board Eligible in Neurology is required. You will evaluate, diagnose, and manage a wide range of neurological conditions in an outpatient setting, developing individualized treatment plans and coordinating care with primary care and specialty teams. Provide ongoing, relationship-based care and patient education, including follow-ups, medication management, and preventive strategies to optimize long-term neurological health. Locations are within 30 to 45 minutes from Austin, TX. Closely affiliated with local Ascension Seton hospitals (Smithville, Edgar B Davis); on-site procedural volume specialties include orthopedics, PM&R, general surgery, and pulmonology. Optional inpatient weekend call at Ascension Seton Hays or central facilities. Potential for Dell Medical School and The University of Texas faculty positions. The practice uses Athena EMR, serves a population of approximately 18,000, and has an integrated referral network. It is part of Ascension, a national nonprofit Catholic health system. Requirements

  • Licensed Physician MD/DO credentialed from the Texas Medical Board obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
  • Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) required.
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Neurology

Responsibilities
