About The Position

Baylor St. Luke's Medical Group, in partnership with St. Luke's Health - The Woodlands Hospital, is seeking to expand its services by adding two board-certified/board-eligible Neurologists to work in an outpatient setting. The neurology program is well-established in the thriving North Houston suburban community of The Woodlands, Texas. As a member of the Baylor St. Luke's Medical Group Neurology service, you will join a team focused on personalized care to diagnose, treat, and manage neurological disorders or problems associated with the central, autonomous, and peripheral nervous systems. These positions will be primarily outpatient with the potential of 1-3 days of call per month. The inpatient service is primarily covered by Neurohospitalists who are also part of the Medical Group, but may require coverage support in the event of unforeseen absence. The Neurology practice is part of the larger suburban, academically affiliated Baylor St. Luke's Medical Group, which includes over a hundred providers in the North Houston market.

Requirements

• Board certified/board-eligible Neurologist.
• Focus on general neurology.
• Experience with Epic EMR.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, treat, and manage neurological disorders or problems associated with the central, autonomous, and peripheral nervous systems.
• Provide personalized care to patients.
• Participate in call rotation (1-3 days per month).
• Potentially provide coverage support for the inpatient service in the event of unforeseen absence.
