About The Position

The Department of Neurology at the Medical College of Wisconsin (MCW) seeks a board certified / board eligible physician to join our Memory Care Division. This position is located in Milwaukee, WI at Froedtert Hospital. We are comprised of a nationally and internationally renowned, dedicated group of faculty and staff with a strong commitment to clinical care. The role involves providing specialized clinical care for patients with memory disorders, including Alzheimer’s disease, dementia, and other cognitive conditions. It also requires collaboration with a multidisciplinary team of neurologists, neuropsychologists, geriatricians, and other specialists to enhance patient care and treatment strategies. There are opportunities to participate in clinical research and trials related to memory disorders, with potential for collaboration across MCW’s research institutes. Additionally, the position includes engaging in medical education by teaching medical students, residents, and fellows, and contributing to program development and growth within MCW’s Memory Disorders Program. Other duties as assigned by the Chair or Chair-Designate are also part of the role.

Requirements

• Medical degree (MD, DO, or equivalent) from an accredited institution.
• Board certification or eligibility in Neurology.
• State medical licensure, or eligibility to obtain license, in the state of Wisconsin.

Nice To Haves

• Fellowship training in Behavioral Neurology, Cognitive Neurology, or a related field is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities
