About The Position

Tenet Healthcare and DMC Medical Group are seeking a fellowship-trained spinal neurosurgeon to join a well-established, multi-site neurosciences program at the heart of one of the Midwest's most iconic medical institutions. You'll practice within a fully integrated system offering hospital privileges across all five DMC facilities — including Level I and II Trauma Centers — backed by a newly accredited Neuro Critical Care Fellowship program. This is a rare opportunity to build a high-impact spine practice with the infrastructure, team support, and academic energy to fuel your growth. Requirements

Fellowship-trained spinal neurosurgeon
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Neurological Surgery
Completion of an accredited spine-based fellowship required
Active Michigan medical license, or willingness to obtain
3-5 years of post-training clinical experience

Responsibilities

Practice within a fully integrated system offering hospital privileges across all five DMC facilities
Build a high-impact spine practice
Lead in a collaborative environment where research is welcomed
3-4 clinic days per week
1-2 OR/procedure/call days per week
Participate in shared call among 5 physicians
Support inpatient rounds 24/7 with 8 NPs
Participation welcomed within an academically oriented neurosciences program
