About The Position

A Neurophysiology trainee at Mayo Clinic is an employee identified as having the professional qualities, aptitude, and learning skills necessary to pursue a Neurophysiology technology position. This entry-level role involves observing and gaining hands-on experience with Neurodiagnostic testings, performing tests under the mentorship and support of experienced technologists. The position is designed to transition into a Neuro Tech I role upon meeting requirements, with a maximum training period of two years to become registry eligible in Neurophysiology modalities such as EMG/NCV, EEG, or Autonomic Testing.

Requirements

• Possess professional qualities, aptitude, and learning skills required to pursue a Neurophysiology technology position
• Complete a maximum 2-year training period to become registry eligible on any of the Neurophysiology modalities (EMG/NCV, EEG, or Autonomic Testing)

Responsibilities

• Observe and gain hands-on experience of Neurodiagnostic testings
• Perform testings with the mentorship and support of experienced technologists
