Under the supervision of the supervisor or manager, performs routine electroencephalograms (EEGs) used to monitor and record brain activity, and may assist in other neurodiagnostic exams requested by a physician, to assist care providers in evaluating and treating epilepsy and seizure disorders. Prior to an EEG exam, technicians review the patient's medical history; meet with patient/caregivers to explain the procedure and answer questions.
