About The Position

The Reg Neurodiagnostic Tech I is responsible for providing neurodiagnostics throughout the organization ranging from providing Intra-Operative Monitoring (IOM), Electroencephalography (EEG) and Nerve Conduction Studies (NCS). Interacts daily with patients, staff and physicians throughout the network in efforts to help physicians to diagnosis and treat conditions such as headaches, seizures disorder, dizziness, strokes, and neuropathies and to test the nerve function in spine and brain surgeries.

Requirements

Associate's Degree in an allied health related field (biology, chemistry, nursing, etc.) and no registry
High School Diploma or Equivalent AND 2 years' related experience
High School Diploma and approved registry from ABRET, AAET, ABEM, or BRPT
Proficient in the medical terminology
Knowledgeable of human anatomy and physiology
Computer and Microsoft Office
At least one registry from the below list: American Board of Registration of Electroencephalographic and Evoked Potential Technologist (ABRET), American Association of Electrodiagnostics Technologists (AAET), American Board Electrodiagnostic Medicine (ABEM), Board of Registered Polysomongraphic Technologists (BRPT)
