About The Position

We are seeking a Neurodiagnostic Assistant to monitor seizure patients in the EMU (Epilepsy Monitoring Unit) via remote video system. This role involves recognizing, classifying, and documenting interictal, ictal, and post-ictal activity. The assistant will also be responsible for placing, removing, and maintaining electrodes on both video EEC patients and continuous EEG ICU patients. A key responsibility includes determining when to activate emergency measures to intervene in patient seizure activity and alerting appropriate personnel. This position offers an opportunity for growth for candidates interested in becoming neurodiagnostic (EEG) techs.

Requirements

CPR/BLS certification Upon Hire Required

Nice To Haves

1 year experience or equivalent experience as a Nursing Assistant or Medical Assistant preferred
