About The Position

Illinois Neurological Institute & OSF HealthCare are looking for Neurocritical Care Physicians to join their growing practice. This is a high-volume program with an 18-bed Neuroscience ICU and approximately 1,000 stroke admissions per year. The position offers flexibility with a 7 on 7 off schedule and the opportunity to work within a Level 1 trauma center. Physicians will collaborate with Anesthesia, Neurosurgery, and Neurology residency programs, and be part of a busy interventional neurology program. The facility boasts advanced neuroimaging capabilities including 3T MRI, fMRI, PET scan, CTA/CTP with AI processing, and SPECT. OSF Saint Francis Medical Center serves as the neurological hub for the region.

Requirements

Physician Licensed to practice medicine in current state.
Licensed by the Federal Drug Enforcement Administration and the State of Illinois to prescribe narcotics, if applicable.
Board certified or board eligible in the appropriate specialty(ies).
Must be eligible as a provider for Medicare, Medicaid, and other federal health programs.

Responsibilities

Provide neurocritical care to patients in an 18-bed Neuroscience ICU.

Maintain medical staff membership and appropriate privileges.
