In addition to ICU care, the neurocritical care team oversees the management and transfer of over 1000 neurologic emergency cases per year across our health system. The division boasts a dually accredited neurocritical care fellowship program and has educational and research conferences fully integrated between campuses. Our robust research program spanning NIH and industry sponsored multicenter clinical trials, investigator-initiated studies, the Dangayach (Neuroemergencies Management and Transfers) NEMAT lab are supported by research infrastructure via the Department of Neurosurgery and Institute of Critical Care Medicine (ICCM).
