About The Position

This role is responsible for neuro instrumentation in decontamination, assembly, and procedure case carts within the sterile process department. The Neuro Technician I will have a detailed working knowledge of department functions and will complete work assignments as directed by SPD managers/charge person. Neuro instrumentation includes hospital-owned, consignment, and loaner equipment. The position is for the Night Shift, working from 10:00 PM to 6:30 AM.

Requirements

Graduate from School of Surgical Technology OR Certified Registered Central Service Technician (CRCST) or Certification Board for Sterile Processing and Distribution (CBSPD).
No prior experience required.
Excellent Communication Skills
Working knowledge of computers
Ability to organize instrument sets
Able to pass a written proficiency review.
Organized and self-motivated with an attention to detail.

Nice To Haves

CRCST or CBSPD (Required if no Surgical Technology Degree)

Responsibilities

Completing work assignments in the sterile process department.
Responsible for neuro instrumentation in decontamination, assembly and procedure case carts.
Available to do other tasks in the department as needed or directed by SPD managers/charge person.
Handling hospital-owned, consignment, and loaner neuro instrumentation.
