This position is responsible for the courteous serving and safe preparation of food and beverages in a retail or residential location. The role involves following all food sanitation procedures to ensure customer safety, assembling orders according to customer requests or batch production, and utilizing a variety of cooking equipment. Additionally, the position assists with inventory counting, inspecting food quality, cleaning and sanitizing work areas and equipment, and may involve securing facilities at the end of service. The role also includes assisting in other food preparation duties and taking ownership of the workstation, potentially with student employee support.
