About The Position

We are seeking a Network Cabling Technician. All applicants must be willing to travel to the client site. Responsibilities include coordinating cabling requirements and planning deployments with site owners and scheduling teams. The role involves installing, laying, and organizing network cables, ensuring proper bundling and neat routing. Technicians will terminate cables using proper connectors and label all cables per project standards. Testing cables after installation to verify correct termination and providing soft copy test results is also a key responsibility. Additionally, the role includes repairing network ends of ethernet cables as needed.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Minimum six (6) years of relevant cabling installation experience.
  • One or more BICSI credentials required: BICSI Installer 1 (INST1), BICSI Installer 2 Copper (INSTC), BICSI Installer 2 Optical Fiber (INSTF), or BICSI Technician (Tech).
  • Ability to travel nationwide to FAA locations for scheduled project work.
  • Valid driver’s license.

Nice To Haves

  • Active Public Trust clearance or ability to obtain one for FAA PIV card issuance.
  • Prior experience working in federal government or FAA facility environments.
