About The Position

Responsible for overseeing daily network monitoring, configuration, and troubleshooting while collaborating with the network team to maintain routing, switching, wireless, and firewall systems. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and or ability required to perform this job successfully. Actively resolves network issues and provides assistance to senior network staff as required. Apply foundational problem-solving and troubleshooting skills to address IT issues effectively. Proactively learn and adapt to new technologies to stay current in the field. Utilize a ticketing system to track and manage work assignments efficiently. Demonstrate autonomy in completing tasks with minimal supervision. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to effectively resolve technical issues. Offer comprehensive guidance and instructions to fellow employees on computer and network usage, providing support as needed. Investigate LAN infrastructure to identify existing or potential issues. Produce comprehensive documentation detailing both problems and their resolutions. Perform installation and termination of low-voltage cables. Apply basic network device management principles. Utilize knowledge of IP protocols to troubleshoot and resolve issues. Apply understanding of network switching and routing to maintain network resources. Demonstrate a foundational understanding of servers and storage systems. Ensure compliance with all Minimum Internal Control Standards (MICS) as well as all Tribal Internal Control Standards (TICS). Present a positive image of the Tribal organization to its guests and vendors and to assist them as required. Must follow all safety policies and procedures and attend all scheduled safety meetings and training as a condition of employment. Perform any other duties that may be assigned from time to time.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent (GED).
  • Proficient in common software and hardware.
  • Possess strong diagnostic, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
  • Must pass periodic random drug screens.
  • Must be able to pass background suitability investigation.
  • Must obtain a Tribal Gaming License.
  • Must obtain all other applicable certifications and licenses.
  • Must provide proof of eligibility to work in the United States within 72 hours of employment.

Nice To Haves

  • Relevant certifications in computer science or information technology preferred.
