About The Position

Works under the supervision of the Network & Systems Administration Manager of Information Services. The Network Support Specialist's primary job functions are to design, support, install and ensure the continued operation of network hardware and network/client security software. Implements and supports network-centric hardware/software. Implements and supports Information Systems security structure. Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or successful completion of an equivalent High School Exam required.
• Two years of college/training in a relevant field or equivalent experience required.
• Two years related work experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Designs deploys and maintains network-centric hardware/software.
• Designs, deploys and maintains all Security Software
• Designs, deploys and maintains Wireless Infrastructure
• Designs and maintains all printer/copier infrastructure within the organization.
• Follows all documented policies/procedures for updating department asset system.
• Responds to after hours emergency calls within 45 minutes of being called.
