About The Position

Kyndryl is seeking a Network Support Associate to join their Early Career Consult Program. In this role, you will be instrumental in ensuring the availability, performance, and security of enterprise network environments. You will work within a complex, multi-vendor setting, focusing on monitoring, maintaining, troubleshooting, and supporting the network infrastructure that underpins critical business operations. Collaboration with engineers, service teams, and customers will be key to resolving issues, implementing changes, and driving continuous improvements in network reliability and performance.

Requirements

  • Foundational experience supporting enterprise network environments with routing and switching technologies.
  • Working knowledge of network protocols, addressing, traffic flow, and connectivity principles.
  • Ability to monitor and manage network availability, performance, and capacity.
  • Experience troubleshooting network performance, connectivity, and configuration issues.
  • Familiarity with WAN technologies, VPNs, and secure network connectivity.
  • Understanding of network security concepts, risks, and vulnerabilities.
  • Ability to install, configure, and support network devices and infrastructure components.
  • Foundational experience handling network incidents, service requests, and operational support activities.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to isolate and diagnose issues.
  • Experience documenting configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting activities.
  • Strong communication and customer support skills.
  • CCNP certification or equivalent networking knowledge.
  • Familiarity with ITIL processes and operational best practices.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with BGP and advanced routing technologies.
  • Experience with Software Defined Networking (SDN), including Cisco ACI.
  • Experience supporting network security technologies such as Check Point or Cisco Firepower firewalls.
  • Experience with F5 load balancers, NSX, or other advanced infrastructure technologies.
  • Experience with network automation tools such as Ansible.
  • Experience supporting large-scale, multi-vendor enterprise environments.
  • Exposure to network engineering, infrastructure modernization, or cloud networking initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor and manage network performance, availability, and operational health.
  • Troubleshoot network connectivity, performance, routing, switching, and configuration issues.
  • Support the installation, configuration, and maintenance of network hardware and software.
  • Execute routine network changes and participate in change management and review processes.
  • Maintain and support secure network connectivity, including VPN and WAN technologies.
  • Investigate network incidents, perform root-cause analysis, and implement corrective actions.
  • Gather diagnostic information and escalate complex issues to senior engineering teams when needed.
  • Support network-security policies and help identify and address security risks and vulnerabilities.
  • Document network configurations, troubleshooting activities, operating procedures, and recurring issues.
  • Provide technical support and communicate status, impact, and resolution updates to customers and stakeholders.
  • Identify opportunities to improve network operations, reduce repeat incidents, and enhance service quality.
