About The Position

We are hiring a Network Security Engineer to join our team. This role requires a strong understanding of network security principles and hands-on experience with various security technologies and cloud environments. The position is based in Foster City, CA, and requires 5 days onsite with local candidates only. Travel within the Bay Area is also required.

Requirements

• 6+ years of Network Security Engineering experience
• Experience with Next Generation Firewalls / UTM Devices
• Experience with AWS Network Security
• Experience with AWS Network Firewall, Security Groups, NACLs
• Experience with AWS Transit Gateway & VPC Architectures
• Experience with Network Access Control (802.1X)
• Experience with Remote Access VPN
• Knowledge of PKI, Cryptography & Certificates
• Strong OSI Model knowledge (All Layers)
• Knowledge of Layer-7 Security & Protection Techniques
• Production Environment Support Experience

Responsibilities

• Provide production environment support for network security infrastructure.
• Implement and manage Next Generation Firewalls / UTM Devices.
• Design and implement network security solutions in AWS, including AWS Network Firewall, Security Groups, NACLs, and Transit Gateway.
• Configure and manage VPC architectures in AWS.
• Implement and manage Network Access Control (802.1X).
• Configure and manage Remote Access VPN solutions.
• Work with PKI, Cryptography, and Certificates.
• Apply knowledge of the OSI Model (All Layers) to troubleshoot and secure the network.
• Implement and manage Layer-7 Security & Protection Techniques.
