About The Position

We are seeking a skilled Network Security Engineer with over 6 years of experience to join our team in Foster City, CA. This role requires a strong understanding of network security principles, including Next Generation Firewalls, AWS network security, and various security protocols. The engineer will be responsible for supporting production environments and ensuring the security of our network infrastructure.

Requirements

• 6+ years of Network Security Engineering experience
• Experience with Next Generation Firewalls / UTM Devices
• Experience with AWS Network Security
• Experience with AWS Network Firewall, Security Groups, NACLs
• Experience with AWS Transit Gateway & VPC Architectures
• Experience with Network Access Control (802.1X)
• Experience with Remote Access VPN
• Knowledge of PKI, Cryptography & Certificates
• Strong OSI Model knowledge (All Layers)
• Knowledge of Layer-7 Security & Protection Techniques
• Experience supporting Production Environments

Responsibilities

• Provide production environment support for network security infrastructure.
• Implement and manage Next Generation Firewalls / UTM Devices.
• Configure and maintain AWS Network Security, including AWS Network Firewall, Security Groups, and NACLs.
• Design and implement AWS Transit Gateway & VPC Architectures.
• Manage Network Access Control (802.1X).
• Configure and support Remote Access VPN solutions.
• Utilize PKI, Cryptography & Certificates for security purposes.
• Apply knowledge of the OSI Model (All Layers) to troubleshoot and secure the network.
• Implement Layer-7 Security & Protection Techniques.
