About The Position

This role involves analyzing architecture, system relationships, and end-to-end design flow. The Network Project Manager will interface with Engineering, Operations, and Network Planning to support designs that simplify and modernize the legacy network. Key responsibilities include tracking monthly progress towards Open For Sales, Copper Migration, and Switch shutdown targets, and communicating this progress to leaders and stakeholders through dashboards and reports.

Requirements

  • Strategic & Analytical Thinking
  • Ability to assess network topology and identify consolidation opportunities
  • Cost-benefit analysis — evaluating which sites/circuits to consolidate and when
  • Scenario planning — modeling different consolidation sequences and their impact
  • Network & Infrastructure Knowledge
  • Deep understanding of network architecture (WAN, LAN, MPLS, SD-WAN, circuits)
  • Familiarity with facility types — data centers, comms rooms, edge sites
  • Understanding of capacity planning and service dependencies
  • Data & Inventory Management
  • Ability to work with network inventory systems and asset registers
  • Identifying gaps, redundancies, and rationalization opportunities in circuit/equipment data
  • Proficiency in Excel/data tools for modeling and reporting
  • Bachelor's degree in Telecommunications, Network Engineering, IT, Computer Science, or Business or equivalent experience

Responsibilities

  • Analyze architecture, relationship between systems, and systems flow of end-to-end designs.
  • Interface with Engineering, Operations and Network Planning organizations to serve and support proper designs needed to simplify and modernize the legacy network.
  • Track monthly Engineering and Operations progress to ensure progress is being made to achieve Open For Sales, Copper Migration and Switch shutdown targets.
  • Share progress with leaders and other stakeholders with dashboards and reports.
