About The Position
A client of Innova Solutions is immediately hiring for Network Monitoring Engineer. This is a contract position with a duration of 18 months, located in Jersey City, New Jersey, requiring 3 days onsite. As a Network Monitoring & Automation Engineer, the role involves designing, implementing, and maintaining Network Fault Monitoring solutions, automation frameworks, and integrations to support enterprise network operations and performance management.
Requirements
- Experience deploying and managing Netcool Omnibus, Impact, Network Manager, Probes, Gateways, and Cognos Analytics.
- Strong experience with SevOne Network Performance Management.
- Experience building Runbook Automations and self-healing solutions.
- Must have strong Linux/Unix administration experience.
- Strong understanding of network infrastructure including routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, and proxies.
- Experience with fault monitoring tools such as IBM Netcool, SevOne, Splunk, and Micro Focus.
- Experience developing integrations, custom policies, probes, triggers, and reports.
- Scripting experience in Python, Ansible, Shell, or JavaScript.
