About The Position

AXIOM is seeking an enthusiastic, motivated, and dynamic individual to join our team as a Network Lab Technician in Austin, TX. This role is crucial for assisting and offering solutions in all aspects of the networking lab. The ideal candidate will be relentless in exceeding customer and co-worker needs and taking the initiative to go to the next level. This is not a remote position and requires the candidate to work from Axiom’s Austin, TX office.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years in electronic or computer industry.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Certifications: CCNA - Routing and Switching.
• Knowledge in switch CLI.
• Excellent product knowledge.
• Excellent in written, interpersonal communications and organization skills.
• Multi-tasking and effective decision making.
• Able to work independently or in a team environment.
• Excellent proficiency in Office Suites.

Nice To Haves

• QC (Quality Control) or QA (Quality Assurance) are a big plus for this role.

Responsibilities

• Performing incoming inspection of incoming product.
• Performing basic commands on switches to ensure compatibility.
• Monitor incoming orders.
• Create labels for transceivers, code transceivers and manage label library.
• Code transceiver EEPROM using the provided tools.
• Performing QA on finished product.
