About The Position

The Network Fulfillment Specialist will support the network fulfillment team within the Operations department. This role is responsible for ensuring fulfillment centers are well-stocked by translating demand signals into a replenishment schedule, maintaining real-time inventory visibility across all fulfillment centers, and flagging risks before they become issues. The specialist will be the main connector between the company and getting product to customers efficiently and cost-effectively, and will also support the fulfillment of B2C orders. The ideal candidate is analytical, detail-oriented, and thrives in a team dynamic that drives data-driven decisions. This role is fully remote, with optional weekly company lunches for those based in the SF Bay Area.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Operations, or a related field, or equivalent hands-on experience.
  • 2–4 years of experience in production planning, operations analysis, or supply chain coordination, ideally in a manufacturing, CPG, or co-man environment.
  • High proficiency in Google Sheets or Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, scenario modeling, large data sets).
  • Experience with NetSuite or another ERP system strongly preferred.
  • Strong analytical instincts; ability to read between the numbers, anticipate issues, and translate data into action plans.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and follow-through.
  • Clear communicator (written and verbal) with internal teams and external manufacturing partners.
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced, lean team environment where you own your work and figure things out.
  • Familiarity with Google Suite (Gmail, Sheets, Docs, Drive).

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in lawn & garden, soil, agriculture, or a category with multi-site co-manufacturing is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure adequate inventory levels at all times across 35+ external fulfillment facilities.
  • Facilitate replenishments with co-manufacturers and co-packers, including fulfillment requests and freight coordination.
  • Translate demand signals (sales forecasts and historical data) into a clear replenishment plan for the production team.
  • Support end-of-month inventory verification and reconciliation.
  • Support order fulfillment for B2C customers.
  • Ensure co-manufacturers have necessary paperwork daily to meet vendor turn times.
  • Schedule pickups with assigned external carriers.
  • Manage all inventory transfers between co-manufacturers and fulfillment centers within NetSuite.
  • Ensure NetSuite reflects real-time inbounds to centers by keeping all documents up to date with accurate data.
  • Track delivery status and provide updates to external partners.
  • Track costs associated with deliveries.
  • Help identify possible partners within targeted regions.
  • Provide analytical support to the Network Fulfillment & Operations Manager for new potential partners.
  • Provide cost analysis and other reporting to support data-driven decisions.
  • Build and maintain performance dashboards tracking key metrics (in-stock rate, weeks on hand, order processing time, storage cost, and freight spend).
  • Develop internal tools and processes with the Network Fulfillment & Operations Manager to make replenishment planning sustainable and scalable.
  • Support improvement of the fulfillment network by modeling network scenarios, freight costs, and inventory positioning.
