This position is for a summer intern to support the Network and Enterprise Services Product Teams on C2BMC in Colorado Springs, CO. The selected candidate will be given tasks appropriate for their level and will work with mentors to develop their skills as needed. Requirements

• Must be pursuing Bachelor’s or Advanced degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering and actively enrolled through the completion of the internship/co-op session.
• Must have a minimum of 60 hours of credit by the start of the internship / co-op session.
• Must have taken basic IT courses that focus on the function and use cases for devices such as routers, switches, servers, storage, and/or firewalls.
• Must have taken a course on systems/software engineering fundamentals.
• Experience may be obtained through on-the-job experience, research, coursework, or projects.
• Active and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date.
• U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
• Ability to obtain a Secret Security Clearance prior to the start date is required.

Nice To Haves

• Familiarity with Agile development cycle.
• Hands-on experience with creating, loading, or troubleshooting network configurations a plus.
• Having an 8570 IAT II compliant certification at start is desired.

Responsibilities

• Perform assignments in technical/engineering organizations while enrolled in an accredited degree program.
• Assisting in the installation, configuration, and maintenance of network hardware and software (e.g., routers, switches, firewalls).
• Performing routine network updates, backups, and maintenance tasks.
• Working closely with IT teams, software developers, and other departments to ensure the network supports all business functions efficiently.
