This is a Full-Time Position. The Network Engineer will install, support, and maintain hardware and software infrastructure according to best practices, including routers, aggregators, switches, Wi-Fi controllers, and firewalls. This role involves diagnosing problems and solving issues, often under time constraints. The engineer will provide network and host-based security, incident response, firewall, and VPN management and administration. They will implement controls and procedures to protect information systems assets, develop and maintain network documentation, and perform regular security monitoring. The position requires monitoring network usage, anticipating problems, and suggesting solutions. Assistance will be provided in the deployment and maintenance of Windows, servers, and hosts. Collaboration with colleagues to meet team goals and improve processes is essential. The engineer will work with other team members to implement solutions to system-related problems to minimize operational impact and will rapidly respond to emergency situations, including direct response or on-call coverage, both during and outside of normal business hours. Additionally, the role involves working with the Telephony Engineer to maintain, troubleshoot, and upgrade the Cisco phone system, keeping the SNMP Dashboard accurate, and assisting with Help Desk tickets as needed. The position also includes organizational responsibilities such as demonstrating commitment to CHOICE values, fostering positive working relationships, adhering to dress code, exhibiting initiative, completing required education and training, maintaining patient confidentiality, reporting to work punctually, contributing to performance improvement initiatives, ensuring regulatory compliance, and following infection control, safety, and risk management procedures.
