About The Position

This is a professional, master position that is responsible for strategic technical leadership and oversight for the processes and functions that design, operate, maintain, and troubleshoot the network. The Network Engineer 4 is key to the crucial collaboration needed across technical disciplines. The Engineer is also critical to the cooperation with other principal-level experts across the enterprise and to communicate the current and potential future state to senior management. Additionally, this role is designed to interface directly with product management and design engineering to provide key operational and design feedback targeted at stabilizing and improving the delivery of services. This is a 5yr fixed-term position. This individual works with divine guidance to provide or support technology that furthers the mission of the Church and reflects the eternal impact of the gospel. Requirements

  • 5 years of experience in network engineering.
  • Ability to provide strategic technical leadership and oversight.
  • Ability to collaborate across technical disciplines.
  • Ability to cooperate with principal-level experts.
  • Ability to communicate technical information to senior management.
  • Ability to interface with product management and design engineering.
  • Must be a member of the Church and worthy of a temple recommend.
