About The Position

We are seeking an expert Wireless Network Engineer to design, deploy, and optimize enterprise wireless networks across corporate and manufacturing environments. This role is responsible for end-to-end wireless architecture, including RF engineering, site surveys, and high-performance network design using technologies such as Cisco Meraki, LTE, and Starlink. The engineer will support complex manufacturing environments, ensuring reliable connectivity for IoT devices, AGVs, and production systems. Responsibilities include network monitoring (SolarWinds), automation and policy management (Cisco DNAC, Python/APIs), and device management (Microsoft Intune). This position acts as a technical SME, partnering with leadership on strategy and mentoring junior engineers.

Requirements

  • Must live in Decatur, IL, or Erlanger, KY, area.
  • Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Experience with Git, Ansible, Terraform (1–3+ years preferred).
  • Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code practices.
  • Understanding of ITIL / change management processes.
  • Ability to act as SME and escalation point.
  • Experience mentoring junior engineers.
  • Strong vendor management and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Responsibilities
