About The Position

We are seeking a skilled Network Engineer with strong experience in Cisco networking technologies and VMware virtualization to support and maintain enterprise network and virtual infrastructure environment. This role focuses on day‑to‑day operations, troubleshooting, and stability of on‑premises and hybrid systems while collaborating with infrastructure, security, and application teams.

Requirements

• 7+ years of hands‑on network engineering experience
• Strong experience with Cisco technologies: Cisco IOS/XE, Routers and switches (Catalyst, Nexus preferred), Firewalls (ASA, Firepower, or equivalent)
• Solid experience with VMware: VMware ESXi, vCenter Server, VMware virtual networking
• Strong understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, NAT, SNMP
• Experience using network monitoring and troubleshooting tools
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively
• Strong written and verbal communication skills

Nice To Haves

• Cisco certifications (CCNA, CCNP, or higher)
• VMware certifications (VCP or higher)
• Experience supporting: SD‑WAN environments, Network automation or scripting, Cloud networking (AWS, Azure, or GCP), Large or hybrid enterprise environments

Responsibilities

• Implement, configure, and support enterprise network infrastructure using Cisco technologies
• Administer and support VMware environments, including ESXi hosts, vCenter, and virtual networking
• Monitor network and virtual infrastructure performance, capacity, and availability
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex network, connectivity, and virtualization issues
• Maintain network security configurations, including firewalls, ACLs, VPNs, and segmentation
• Configure and support VLANs, routing protocols (OSPF, BGP, EIGRP), QoS, and high‑availability environments
• Support virtual switches (vDS), port groups, and VM networking
• Participate in disaster recovery testing and execution
• Maintain accurate network diagrams, documentation, and operating procedures
• Coordinate with systems, cloud, and security teams on operational tasks
• Provide Tier 3 support and participate in on‑call rotations as required
