Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent work experience in an IT environment
  • 2+ years of related experience in a technical environment
  • Knowledge of IT methods, practices, procedures, and policies
  • Desire for life-long learning to maintain a comprehensive understanding of evolving technologies
  • Experience teaching and mentoring IT interns and associates
  • Embrace dynamic, fast-paced environments, and adapt well to rapid change
  • Can participate in after hours on call rotation
  • Practice absolute confidentiality and unquestionable ethics
  • Excellent customer service commitment

Nice To Haves

  • Technical background and knowledge of manufacturing and/or engineering processes
  • Ability to meet Motor Vehicle Report Qualification Standards of SEL
  • Experience using programming languages and script writing

Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and support Operational Technology (OT) networking solutions within manufacturing environments.
  • Deploy and maintain Software Defined Networking (SDN) infrastructure supporting industrial control systems and production equipment.
  • Partner with manufacturing, facilities, and engineering teams to support factory expansion projects and production initiatives.
  • Plan and coordinate network infrastructure requirements including switches, cabinets, racks, uninterruptible power supplies (UPS), power distribution units (PDUs), fiber systems, and structured cabling.
  • Assist with commissioning new manufacturing lines, equipment integrations, and facility build-outs.
  • Apply cybersecurity principles and segmentation strategies to protect manufacturing and industrial networks.
