About The Position

Deloitte Cyber is hiring a Network Engineer for its Enterprise Security team to design, deploy, troubleshoot, and optimize secure, highly available enterprise network environments supporting mission-critical operations. The role contributes to secure network solutions for government and public-sector clients and operates within Agile, SAFe, and DevSecOps environments. The position is part of Deloitte’s Project Delivery Talent Model, where professionals with specialized skills focus on delivering services to clients, without additional business-development or promotion expectations. Employment is tied to the role on a project. The position is onsite five days per week in Colorado Springs, Colorado, with average travel of 20%. Recruiting for this role ends October 30, 2026.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree and 18 or more years of total experience, or a master’s degree and 10 or more years of total experience.
• At least 5 years of experience working with enterprise network environments, including network infrastructure design, deployment, or operations.
• At least 5 years of experience with core networking and security concepts, including routing, switching, firewalls, network monitoring, access management controls, network reliability, performance optimization, and troubleshooting.
• At least 5 years of experience in complex, large-scale enterprise environments and collaborating with infrastructure, security, and engineering teams.
• At least 5 years of experience working in Agile, DevSecOps, or similar iterative engineering environments.
• Active TS/SCI clearance or eligibility for SCI.
• Ability to work onsite five days per week in Colorado Springs, Colorado.
• Ability to travel an average of 20%, depending on work and clients served.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without current or future employer sponsorship.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively, communicate effectively in writing and verbally, and maintain professional relationships.
• Meticulous attention to detail and quality of work; strong interpersonal skills and professional demeanor.
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Lead deployment and configuration of routers, switches, and other network infrastructure in enterprise environments.
• Design and optimize network architectures to improve availability, scalability, performance, and security.
• Troubleshoot network issues and implement corrective actions to maintain reliable network operations.
• Partner with engineering teams to evaluate hardware, test architectures, and support custom network solutions.
• Contribute to Agile, Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe), and DevSecOps environments through continuous improvement and automation efforts.
• Lead projects or workstreams, manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and mentor others.
