About The Position

We're looking for a senior Network Security Engineer to support large-scale enterprise networks and security infrastructure. This role will focus heavily on firewall administration, network security, advanced routing, and data center migration projects. The ideal candidate has deep hands-on experience troubleshooting complex environments and leading network cutovers with minimal business disruption.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of enterprise networking experience with a strong network security focus.
  • Hands-on experience administering Check Point and/or Fortinet firewalls.
  • Strong experience supporting data center migration projects.
  • Advanced routing and switching experience, including BGP, OSPF, MPLS, VPNs, NAT, and VLAN technologies.
  • Experience with Cisco and Juniper networking technologies.
  • 2+ years of Linux/Unix experience.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with network monitoring and management tools.
  • Strong communication and documentation abilities.

Responsibilities

  • Implement firewall change requests and security policy updates.
  • Create, manage, and troubleshoot firewall rules and objects within Check Point and Fortinet environments.
  • Configure and support Check Point, Fortinet, Cisco, and Juniper firewalls.
  • Support and administer F5 Load Balancers, including VIPs, pools, nodes, SSL profiles, and health monitoring.
  • Support proxy and IDS environments.
  • Plan and execute data center migration activities, including: Pre-migration planning, Cutovers, Validation testing, Rollback planning, Post-migration support.
  • Troubleshoot complex routing and connectivity issues involving: BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, MPLS, IPSec VPNs, GRE Tunnels, NAT, VRF.
  • Perform packet captures, traffic flow analysis, log review, and end-to-end connectivity validation.
  • Support migration of third-party and external network connections between data centers.
  • Work closely with network, security, application, vendor, and carrier teams.
  • Maintain technical documentation, migration plans, and change records.
  • Participate in after-hours maintenance and migration windows when needed.
