About The Position

We are looking to add a Network Engineer to our growing IT Infrastructure Department. As a Network Engineer you will be responsible for maintaining and configuring our network infrastructure. This hybrid position will directly support our IT Infrastructure Operations at our Rockdale, Texas site.

Requirements

• 5+ years’ experience with Firewalls, Routers, Switches, and Networking
• Expert understanding of IT Infrastructure and Networking Fundamentals
• Expertise in Cisco, Fortinet, Meraki, and similar Hardware
• Self-reliant and proactive, capable of taking the initiative on existing and new projects

Nice To Haves

• Associate’s degree or equivalent experience
• Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) preferred

Responsibilities

• Configuring network hardware: Installing and setting up switches, routers, firewalls and servers
• Handling repairs and maintenance: Upgrading, maintaining, and troubleshooting network issues
• Assisting with Network Design and Architecture
• Firmware and License Maintenance for Network Hardware
• Ensuring network security: Implementing security measures, monitoring network availability, and maintaining integrity
• iTSM: Strict adherence to Change management and ITSM policies.
• Documentation: Document network design and changes with viso, netbox etc.
