About The Position
This is a 6-month contract position for a Network Engineer located in Bridgeport, WV. The role involves unboxing, configuring, testing, and repacking Cisco IE3300 switches, as well as updating an asset inventory list.
Requirements
- At least two years of experience configuring Cisco switches
- Attention to detail and accuracy in performing tasks
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Availability for six months on this project
Responsibilities
- Unbox Cisco IE3300 switches and check their firmware version
- Upgrade firmware if needed and apply standard configuration
- Test the configuration and verify switch functionality
- Repack switches and prepare them for shipment
- Update the asset inventory list with switch details
