About The Position

Amentum is seeking a Network Engineer to support the Trojan Net Ops Program in Fort Shafter, Hawaii. The role provides Tier 2 customer service support to US ARMY INSCOM customers and software support for network and computing equipment, including Cisco routers and switches, Dell PCs, Sun servers, Juniper routers, In-Line Encryption (INE) devices, network security appliances, and related hardware. The work supports reliable communications for defense teams, field operations, and government agencies.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience configuring, operating, and troubleshooting networks.
• Active Top Secret US Government Clearance with SCI eligibility.
• US citizenship is required to maintain a Top Secret Clearance with SCI eligibility.
• Ability to bend, reach, lift, and carry up to 15 pounds.
• The role occasionally requires standing and/or walking, handling or feeling objects, and writing.

Nice To Haves

• Current DoD IAT II certification, such as GSEC, Security+ CE, SSCP, CCNA-Security, CCNA, or CCENT.
