About The Position
Provides enterprise network engineering, administration, monitoring, troubleshooting, and operational support services across hybrid infrastructure and cloud-connected environments. Supports network operations, connectivity, performance optimization, operational continuity, and escalation support activities aligned to enterprise operational and modernization requirements.
Requirements
- Must be a US citizen
- Must Reside in the DMV Area (DC, Maryland, Virginia)
- 5+ years supporting enterprise network operations and engineering environments
- Experience supporting Cisco or enterprise-class network infrastructure
- Experience with network monitoring and troubleshooting tools
- Knowledge of routing, switching, firewalls, and network protocols
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor's Degree
- Familiarity with hybrid cloud networking and VPN technologies
- Experience supporting federal or regulated operational environments
- CCNA or equivalent networking certification
Responsibilities
- Support enterprise network operations and administration activities
- Perform network monitoring, troubleshooting, and incident resolution
- Support routing, switching, VPN, firewall, and cloud-connected network environments
- Assist with network performance optimization and operational maintenance
- Support hybrid cloud networking and connectivity operations
- Coordinate operational escalations and outage resolution activities
- Maintain network documentation, diagrams, and operational procedures
- Support network security and operational compliance activities
- Assist with implementation of network upgrades and infrastructure improvements
- Support operational continuity and preventative maintenance activities
