About The Position

Sunayu, LLC has an exciting new opportunity to support the Defense Language Institute Foreign Language Center (DLIFLC). We are looking for professionals to help us manage and modernize the IT infrastructure that drives world-class language instruction for the DLIFLC’s diverse academic community. This position is contingent upon contract award.

Requirements

Experience working with network infrastructure, preferably with a focus on Extreme Networks products and solutions.
Strong understanding of networking concepts, protocols, and technologies, including but not limited to LAN, WAN, routing, switching, VLANs, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and network security.
Certified to work on Extreme Networks products, such as switches, routers, access points, and network management tools.
Experience in managing network related projects, including planning, implementation, and documentation, including network upgrades, migrations, and infrastructure expansions.
Shall possess a combination of experience and skills with the following manufacturers and applications: VMware NSX (V6.2), Ruckus Layer 2 Switches / Wireless Controller / Wireless Access Points, Palo Alto Networks Firewall (PA-7050 / PA-3060 / PA-3260 / PA-5450 / WildFire/URL Filtering), Brocade MPLS Implementation Layer 2 and Layer 3 switches, Cisco Networks switches and routers, Aruba Networks (Wireless Controllers / Access Points / Airwave / ClearPass), Ciena 100G OME 6500 DWDM System, Extreme Networks Layer 2/3, MLXE Switches / Extreme IQ / OSPF, BGP, and MPLS, SolarWinds, InMon Sentinel, Uptrends.
BA/BS degree with a minimum of 5+ years of experience OR AA/AS degree with 7+ years of experience OR 9+ years of relevant experience may be substituted for the degree requirement.
Extreme Networks Certification.
IAT Level II certification (CCNA Security, CSA+, GICSP, GSEC, Security+ CE, or SSCP) and applicable CE/OS Certification.

Responsibilities

Manage and modernize the IT infrastructure.
Install, Configure, and Manage VMware NSX (V6.2).
Manage Ruckus Layer 2 Switches / Wireless Controller / Wireless Access Points.
Utilize knowledge of Palo Alto Networks Firewall (PA-7050 / PA-3060 / PA-3260 / PA-5450) and features like WildFire/URL Filtering.
Implement Brocade MPLS Layer 2 and Layer 3 switches.
Work with Cisco Networks switches and routers.
Manage Aruba Networks Wireless Controllers / Access Points / Airwave / ClearPass.
Operate Ciena 100G OME 6500 DWDM System.
Configure and manage Extreme Networks Layer 2/3, MLXE Switches / Extreme IQ / OSPF, BGP, and MPLS.
Utilize SolarWinds, InMon Sentinel, and Uptrends for network management.
Plan, implement, and document network related projects, including network upgrades, migrations, and infrastructure expansions.
